As Drethan fused another spell into the costume he was working on he felt more than heard the boy come into the store. Drethan walks out to see what the boy is looking for but he seems to just be an aimless wanderer. “Hello can I help you with anything?” Drethan asks casually while casting a simple spell to see into the boy’s thoughts. It turns out the boys name was Brian. But the most surprising thing was that he wasn’t looking for any costume in particular he just came in here out of boredom.
“Oh, uh no thanks im just looking.”  So will starts to look around checking out the different costumes. Suddenly drethan feels that something has caught the boy’s attention. Drethan looks up with a start and see’s that he is checking out a dragon costume. It was one of his normal ones but he could always make a “custom” costume. “Did you find something you like?” Drethan asks casually. But Brian just shakes his head and puts the costume back. He continues down the aisle. Every so often Drethan sensors would go off and would see him holding a dragon costume again but every time he would put it back.
But then his sensors feel like they just exploded in his head. He looks up and the kid is holding a huge furry costume. Brian takes a deep breath and walks up to the counter with what turned out to be a werewolf costume. “I would like to buy this costume please.” Drethan looks over the costume and recognizes it as one of his normal costumes. “Oh im sorry this costume is not for sale. I make all my costumes custom jobs. I only have these hanging up so people get an idea for what they want.” Will looked sadden by this new event. “But, because I like you. I’ll make your costume for free since.” At this Brian brighten considerably. He said his sizes and I told him what I tell all my other experiments. “Come back in a week and your costume will be ready for you.” so Brian left with thoughts of running through the woods as a giant werewolf.
A week later will came back almost bouncing off the walls in anticipation of his new costume. He comes running into the shop nearly out of breath. “Yes im done with your costume I’ll grab it in a minute.” Drethan said in no hurry at all. Will’s eye visibly twitched and drethan had to hold back a laugh at his face. “Okay ill grab it for you but only because you asked nicely.” He hops off his chair and grabs a box from under the counter. Okay here you go one costume free of charge now go on before I decide to change my mind about it being free.” Drethan says with a friendly smile on his face. “Thanks mister, have a good day.” Brian picks up his costume and heads out the door.
I was so close soon I would be one with my new body. But I needed to bide my time if I melded with him to soon he may be afraid to stay with me. I needed to find a good time to get him to fuse. Just being in his presence coursed power through my latex body. Soon my time would begin as I felt the car stop moving.
I couldn’t wait to finally try on my costume it would be awesome. I rip open the box and take the werewolf costume out in all its furry glory. It was covered in pitch black hair and had the most amazing face of all. The snout was stretched out and was full of razor sharp looking fangs. It was exactly how I imagined it. I look all over it for a zipper or something and finally find it hidden under a flap of skin. I open it up and put my legs inside. It felt oddly warm even though it had been in a box for most of the time. I put my other leg into it and pull it up to my waist.  I feel it tighten around my waist but I just ignored it. I pull it up and put my arms into the arms of the costume. I hear this strange sound. It sounded like a zipper closing. Before I can think twice about it the head flips up and attaches around my face I reach behind me and feel the sides of the costume’s head close under my fingers. Then I felt like I was on fire. I drop to my knees in pain as my skin feels like it just burst into flames.
Then suddenly it didn’t hurt. Don’t worry kid I got ya. Just relax and it will go nice and easy. You wanted this now just calm down and let it happen. So I did as the voice said and the changes went faster. Within minutes I was a hulking werewolf. My snout pulls back into a wolfish version of a smile. “Finally I’m free. Oh it feels so good to be able to breathe and feel blood flowing through me. I have dreamt of this day for so long.” I flex the new huge muscles in my arms and feel the strength in them. But it wasn’t me that was doing it. That’s when I feel the other mind in my head. “Uh hello who is this?” I hear laughing in my head and flinch. Uh im not sure really I guess im you. I had to laugh at this the thing in my head doesn’t even know what it is. I do know what I am I’m just not sure if im right. Okay do you at least know what your name is? It’s uh I don’t know. So you don’t even have a name, okay then its kiba. There now you have a name. So how long do I have to be in this thing anyway you know before you let me out again? Oh im not coming off, your wish to be a werewolf was strong enough incentive to me that we just merge for good and be one being. Just look at yourself your human again you don’t even need me to come off we can be like this forever. Suddenly brightening up “yeah but how do I.” but before he can even finish the sentence he was a huge wolf again. “This is so awesome!” (They are now one being so I will be treating them that way) They sneak out the back door and take off towards the forest behind Brian’s house. As they go jumping through the woods he couldn’t help but let out a long howl.
As drethan watched the two of them running through the forest he couldn’t help but be proud of himself. Within the matter of a half hour they had fused and worked out any problems they have. He would have to say that this newest creations was one of his better ones.
